Integrity Solutions Creates 5 New Jobs and Invests €350K in High-Tech IT Security Training Centre

Dublin, 6th October 2011, – Integrity Solutions, Ireland’s largest IT security specialist, today announced an investment of €350,000 as it launches one of Ireland’s first dedicated IT security training centres. The ultramodern facility has opened next door to Integrity’s headquarters in Sandyford, Dublin and gives Irish organisations the opportunity to study and manage an extensive range of security threats in a live test environment.

Integrity has opened its training centre in response to demand from Irish organisations looking for hands-on experience managing increasingly sophisticated security issues, from insider attacks to cyber terrorism.

The new training centre includes a futuristic laboratory with some of the most advanced security technology available in Ireland. The investment has been funded by accumulated earnings in the business as profits have continued to grow year-on-year since Integrity was established in 2005.

Integrity has worked closely with its partner base of many of the world’s leading IT security companies to ensure it has all of the necessary knowledge and tools available in the training centre. Integrity’s partners include Check Point, Juniper Networks, Blue Coat, Websense, F5, Splunk, SANS and RSA.

Five new senior security consultant roles are being created by Integrity to assist with the new courses. They will be complemented by Integrity’s existing team of security consultants. Integrity will continue to look for new hires with specific IT security skills and will also ensure its own staff members are trained to the highest levels at security centres of excellence around the world.

Eoin Goulding, managing director of Integrity Solutions, comments: “With cyber criminality continuing to increase in Ireland and across the world, Irish organisations need to be armed with a deep understanding of emerging security threats and proactive risk management. Traditionally, most had to go abroad to get the right level of IT security training. We wanted to provide businesses here with the facilities and skills that are on a par with any of the leading international security training centres.”

“We believe this advanced IT security facility will meet the current and evolving training needs of Irish businesses, and will also give them the ability and confidence to fully protect their information assets,” continues Goulding.

Much of the security training now on offer in Dublin by Integrity was previously unavailable in Ireland. Tailored courses will cover an extensive array of topics including security awareness for management, security auditing, compliance, policy management and cyber forensics. They are aimed at users at all levels from administrator through to CEO level. A wide range of security qualifications will be available such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a range of SANS certifications (GSEC, GWART, GCIH, GCED) under the community mentor programme.

In addition to IT security training, Integrity will continue to deliver its comprehensive range of security solutions and managed services to businesses throughout Ireland and the UK.

Integrity’s security awareness course for management is expected to attract a lot of interest from senior business managers who want to be up-to-date on the latest security threats and what it means for their business. Integrity is offering free half-day courses for the first eight people who sign up at events@integritysolutions.ie
